Dean A.  Levan
Dean A. Levan, 56, of Hamburg, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Angie J. (Shollenberger) Levan, to whom he was married for twenty-six years.
Born in West Reading, he was the son of Esther M. (Miller) Levan, companion of Edward Bentzel, Tilden Twp.; and the late Nevin R. Levan, husband of Sharon Levan. Dean was a truck driver, last working for New Era Logistics. He was a member of Zion's Church, Windsor Castle. Dean enjoyed camping and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are his children: Corey A. Herman; Jamin D. Levan; and Amanda L. (Levan), wife of Daniel Wright, all of Hamburg; and two grandchildren: Aydan M. and Oliver D. Wright. Dean is also survived by two brothers: Dennis L. Levan, Hamburg; and Daren N. Levan, Windsor Castle; two sisters: Denise E. (Levan) Clouser, Hamburg; and Diann L. (Levan) Adam, Leesport, several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his mother-in-law: Virginia (Balthaser) Shollenberger, Hamburg.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 15, at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). A visitation with the family will be held in the funeral home Saturday 9:30 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg, PA 19526 to assist the family with final expenses.
