Obituary for Martha L. Mast (Mast)
Martha L. Mast, of Leesport, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016 at the age of 97 in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center.
Born in Morgantown on September 2, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Elam and Rebecca (Kurtz) Mast.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Isaac L.B. Mast, in 1992; a son, Isaac, Jr., in 2006; a grandson, Jeremy Christman, in 2003; a sister, Kathryn Weaver; and brothers, Edwin, Lloyd and Stephen Mast.
Martha is survived by a daughter-in-law, Edna, Ephrata; a son, Donald Mast, married to Darlene (Good), Shoemakersville; daughters, Dot, married to Bill Moss, Central, South Carolina; and Linda, married to Frank Christman; a brother, Ira Mast, New Holland; and sisters, Ruth Redcay, Ephrata, Della Bollinger, Lititz, Miriam, married to David Mast, Oley, and Erma, married to Elmer Brown, Rising Sun, Maryland. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was loved by all who knew her.
A viewing will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Trinity Bible Fellowship Church, 220 Main Street, Blandon, PA 19510, followed by funeral services at 11:00 am, led by Pastor Dan William. A graveside service for family will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Morgantown. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Trinity Bible Fellowship Church at the above address.
