Obituary for Edith M. Reppert (Hoster)
Edith M. Reppert, 95, formerly of Hamburg, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 in the Reading Hospital. She was the wife of George C. Reppert, who died October 2, 1995.
Born in Ontelaunee Twp., she was the daughter of the late Reuben and Laura (Keller) Hoster. Edith worked as a sewing machine operator for Windsor Knitting Mill, Hamburg, until her retirement. She was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perry Twp. Edith enjoyed sewing.
Edith is survived by two sons: George M. Reppert, and his wife Helen Hannah Reppert, Lancaster; and Kenneth E. Reppert, and his wife Marilyn Reppert, Temple; six grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother: William Hoster, Bernville; and one sister: Irene (Hoster) Flammer, Shoemakersville. Edith was predeceased by her siblings: Theodore, Charles, Howard, Leroy, Ellen, Laura and Dorothy.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in St. Paul's (Smoke) Cemetery, Windsor Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Wednesday 10:00 to 11:00 am.
