Obituary for Joann M. Wesner (Kerschner)

Joann M. Wesner, 79, of Centre Twp., died Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of Clarence R. Wesner, died December 1999.
Born in Richmond Twp., she was the daughter of the late Clarence I. and Fern P. (Manmiller) Kerschner. She graduated from Fleetwood High School, and was a member of Salem (Belleman’s) Church, Centre Twp. Joann worked as a sewing machine operator at Crown Knitting Mill for about 20 years, later working as part of the cleaning staff at Reading Hospital for a number of years prior to her retirement.
Joann is survived by two sons: Craig R. Wesner, Mohrsville, and Garry L. Wesner and his wife Nancy, Summit Station; and two grandchildren: Richard and Holly Wesner.
Services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
