Anna M.  Kerschner (Rissmiller)
Anna M. Kerschner, 80, of Leesport, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016 in Manor Care, Sinking Spring.
Born in Ontelaunee Twp., she was the daughter of the late William and Beulah (Hollenbach) Rissmiller. She was a 1954 graduate of Ontelaunee High School. Anna worked for the Globe Underwear Company, Wright's Knitting Mill and Diener's Knitting Mill, retiring in 2000. She enjoyed reading, going for walks and spending time with her family.
Anna is survived by her children: Ricky A. Kerschner, and his fiance Tina A. Bender, Mohrsville; and Denise F. (Kerschner), wife of Denton C. Brown, Reinholds; three grandchildren: Cory, Erica and Kyle; and four great-grandchildren: Bradyn, Ella, Axel, and Emma. She is also survived by one brother: Ralph Rissmiller, and his wife Ginny, Elizabethtown. Anna was predeceased by a brother: Earl Heister.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery, Centre Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Wednesday 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Heartland Hospice, 4 Park Plaza, Wyomissing, PA 19610.
