Obituary for Arline A. Leibensperger (Baer)

Arline A. Leibensperger, 91, of Leesport, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 in the Laurel Center, Tilden Twp. She previously resided at Berks Leisure Living for two years. Arline was the wife of Lynn M. Leibensperger, who died on December 1, 2002.
Born in Perry Twp., she was the daughter of the late Lester and Ada S. (Stump) Baer. Arline worked as a bench hand for Lucent Technologies, Muhlenberg Twp., retiring in December 1985. She attended Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, Leesport. Arline enjoyed crocheting, needle point, crafts and word search puzzles.
Arline is survived by one son: Leonard R. Leibensperger, Mohrsville; two daughters: Linda R. (Leibensperger) DeCesare, Danville, Virginia; and Lana R. (Leibensperger), wife of Nicholas Deeter, Jr., Mohrsville; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son: Lynn R. Leibensperger, who died November 6, 1985; a brother: Lester Baer; and two sisters: Mildred Wertz; and Kathryn Phillips.
Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Saturday 9:30 to 11:00 am. Memorial contributions may be sent to Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 221, Leesport, PA 19533.
