The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of William Freiwald can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

My hard working husband DAVE

My husband DAVE was the hardest working man I have ever known! He worked 3 jobs most of his life. He was a wonderful "father" to his 2 stepsons BUBBA and ERIC and his son DAVY. He was broken hearted when his daughter Crissy died at 34 years old. He taught his sons to work hard and be a man. He was there for them through thick and thin, good or bad with no strings attached. We went camping every summer with his buddy Aaron and his wife Sandy and there family for over 35 years until he got sick and could not travel.Only last year we went to Virginia with my son Bubba and his family , for his last vacation. He loved spending time with his sons and grandchildren. He loved working up at SMITH'S COUNTRY INN  in NEW RINGGOLD for over 40 years. He loved  Dolores and Smitty like his second "parents" and they loved him like a son. Most married couples grow apart as they grow older but we grew together.Don't get me wrong , our relationship was not perfect, but we always worked on it to make it stronger and better. He will always be remembered as a bartender and a carpenter and a JACK of all trades. He could do anything and fix everything. He was a wonderful father and a husband. I will always remember all the good times we had together. HE WAS MY BEST FRIEND. You will always be in my heart. I LOVE YOU DAVE AND I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU.   YOUR LOVING WIFE,  PAT
