Obituary for Marjorie A. McConnell (Choinski)

Marjorie A. McConnell, 68 of Hamburg, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016.
Born in Bristol, PA, on January 17, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (Downs) Choinski. She was the widow of William K. McConnell, who died in 1997.
Marjorie was a 1965 graduate of Bishop Egan High School, Levittown; and was a licensed practical nurse for many years, working in private duty and for Berks Visiting Nurses Association. She was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Mary R.C. Church, Hamburg.
Marjorie is survived by two sons, Robert S. and William K. McConnell; two brothers, Bill (Peg) and Raymond Choinski; a sister, Sara Jayne Berkebile (Keith), one granddaughter, Sara Louise Loy; one great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 12:00 noon from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg. A visitation with the family will be held in the funeral home Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Sacred Heart Villa (formerly St. Michael Convent), 51 Seminary Avenue, Reading, PA 19605.
