Obituary for Pauline A. Klee (Miller)

Pauline A. (Miller) Klee, 87, formerly of Shoemakersville, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Keystone Villa at Fleetwood where she had resided for four years. She was the wife of Richard L. Klee, who passed away on January 15, 1995.
Born in Hamburg, she was the daughter of the late Albert J. and Fannie F. (Reppert) Miller. She was a member of St. Luke’s Union Church in Shoemakersville. Pauline graduated from the former Perry High School, Shoemakersville and the McCann School of Business, Reading. She held several clerical and administrative jobs in Reading, Leesport, and Hamburg. She was last employed at the former Meridian Bank as a data entry clerk, retiring in 1997. As a longtime resident of Shoemakersville, she was active as a Den Mother for the local Cub Pack in the early 1960’s. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxilliary of the Shoemakersville Fire Company and the Reading Hospital Auxiliary of Shoemakersville.
Pauline is survived by her son: Bruce S. Klee, Pottstown and her daughter: Lori J. (Klee) Balthaser, Kutztown; and her four grandchildren: Kevin S. Klee, Kimberly M. Klee, Bradley E. Balthaser, and Kyle R. Balthaser. She is also survived by two brothers, Nevin A. Miller husband of Arlene (Schaeffer) Miller, Fleetwood and Donald R. Miller, Shoemakersville; and three sisters, Arlene A. (Miller) Leese, wife of James Leese Jr, Reading, Jean F. (Miller) Dietrich of Kutztown, and Carolyn E. (Miller) Balthaser, wife of J. Paul Balthaser, Bernville; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Harold Miller and a sister Miriam M. (Miller) Evangelista.
Services will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg, PA 19526. Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery, Shoemakersville. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M.
