Robert A.  Renno
Robert A. Renno, 50, of Womelsdorf, passed away in his residence on Friday, June 12, 2015. He was the husband of Lori S. (Schappell) Renno. They were married on May 21, 1988 and celebrated twenty-seven years of marriage.
Born in West Reading, he was the son of Elsie (Berger) Readinger, widow of Harvey Readinger, Hamburg; and the late William F. Renno, IV. Robert worked as an equipment manager for Forino Company. He was an avid fisherman. Robert enjoyed cooking and spending time on the Chesapeake Bay boating, jet skiing and crabbing. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #1044 in Crisfield, Maryland.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother is one daughter: Emilie E. Renno, Ashburn, Virginia; one sister: Tammy L. (Renno), wife of Ryan Reppert, Port Clinton; step-mother: Shirley (Readinger) Renno, Tilden Twp.; step-brother: Christopher M. Smith, Auburn; step-sister: Stephanie I. (Smith), wife of Randy Hoppes, Bernville; half-brother: Timmy Readinger, and his wife Tracey, Hamburg; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Paul and Sandy Schappell, Orwigsburg; and his nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. A visitation with the family will be held on Friday in the funeral home from 9:30 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, attn: Membership Department, 6 Herndon Avenue, Annapolis, MD 21403.
