Gladys E. Lease, 78, of Tilden Twp., passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of Roger A. Lease. They were married on July 22, 1964 and celebrated fifty years of marriage.

Born in Tilden Twp., she was the daughter of the late John and Mabel (Mengel) Hollenbach. She worked as a bus driver aide for the Berks County Intermediate Unit. Gladys was a member of Frieden's Church, Lenhartsville. She enjoyed doing word searches; and especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons: Daniel L. Ney, Shoemakersville; and Randy A. Lease, Tilden Twp.; one daughter: Dawn M. (Lease) Boyer, fiance of Mike Christman, Shoemakersville; two granddaughters: Brandi Skye and Kylie; and one sister: Marian (Hollenbach) Mengel, Hamburg.

Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Thursday 9:30 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be mailed to Penn Medicine Development, 3535 Market Street, Suite 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104. Make check payable to "Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania" and include a note indicating that contribution should go to support the Lung Center, in memory of Gladys E. Lease.
