Joyce D. Daub, 78, formerly of Bern Twp., a resident at Laurel Center Assisted Living, Tilden Twp., died Thursday, September 1, 2016 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of Parker R. Daub, died May 22, 2008.
Born in Stony Creek Mills, she was the daughter of the late Ellis F. and Sara F. (Fick) Dautrich. She was a member of Salem (Belleman’s) Church, Centre Twp. She enjoyed animals, especially cats, and reading books. She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan, and she loved spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by two sons: Jack L. husband of Cheri L. (Hoyer) Thomas, Ontelaunee Twp., Dale M. husband of Patricia F. (Lash) Thomas, Tilden Twp.; a daughter: Vicki A. Thomas, Tilden Twp.; three grandchildren: Dustin husband of Pamela Thomas, Oceanside, CA, Ryan husband of Christie (Weist) Thomas, Blandon, Cheyenne Lash, Philadelphia; three brothers: Donald L. Dautrich, Mohrsville, Richard E. husband of June (Fisher) Dautrich, Leesport, Elwood R. husband of Beth Dautrich, Albion, PA; and two sisters: Annabelle (Dautrich) wife of Paul L. Lesher, Wernersville, and Sandra (Dautrich) wife of Harold Sunday, Tilden Twp. She was predeceased by a sister in law: Pauline M. (Kramer) Dautrich.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
